Losing internet: part 2

Again a "losing internet" post.
This time I got some sketches of things that can happen when you are internetless or seeking for it.
No markers this time but colored fineliners and pencil ^_^

Last week I watched Little Mermaid and realized that I miss songs like this in new animationmovies!
Dutch version, because I like the voices more.
I use to like the english voices more, but not @ Little Mermaid :)



This Russian version of Winnie the Pooh is brilliant!
Especially Vinni's song ;)
I've no idea what he is talking about, but it's fun!

Amazing style, story and animation!

new inks

In my vacation I doodled a bit.
Now I digitalized 2 of them and experimented with inking again.





I did some lines about 50 times to get them a little bit nice.
I continue to blame my Wacom... I think about buying a new one pretty soon... maybe this week...
This new one is gonna be a Wacom Intuos 3 A5, which is twice as sensitive as my recent Wacom Graphire 4XL. Besides that, the cover sheet of the Graphire is very smooth, so your pen slips sometimes when drawing. The coversheet of the Intuos is not that smooth and draws much better in my opinion ^_^.
Reasons enough to buy an Intuos, now only enough money...

Packaging

For the sleepoverkit I designed a packaging:


The idea is to create a designertoy which contains the stuff you need when you stay a night somewhere else. I just drew this for our investigation (marketing). Just drew allong untill I had something I liked a little ;).

Postbank

Besides school I work at the technical helpdesk of Postbank (ING). We are trained to help people who have problems with internetbanking and when their problem is solved we also advice them about Postbank-products.

@Product-traing we make posters in small groups and show & tell each other what the specs and usp's of a product are.

My posters are showed on our department now :)

This is for school.
We needed to pick an object and make a registration of it every day.
I started with drawing ofcourse, but that became boring after a few days.

So, after (I think) 5 minutes Illustrator-ing this is the result:

When the end is near....

:( My Wacom Graphire 4 pen, which I have for 1,5 year, is about to die!
It was already dirty & it looks like there is mildew all over the handgripe, but now it is losing some parts too...

I wanted to upload a picture, but Blogger isn't nice to me at all...
So I'll upload a picture this evening.

My new pet: Pom!

I'd like to introduce you to my new pet:

Pom








Pom is designed by the Dutch illustrator Fiep Westendorp. Pom actually has a brother, Pim, but I wasn't able to buy Pim too T_T.


There is a book about these cute cats, which I've read when I was a kid. I really liked (and like) the stories & the cats ofcourse ^_^.

I'll try to translate for you what the book says on the first page about Pim & Pom. In Dutch it's a poem, in English not ^_^. Here it is:

Pim and Pom
Look, this are the cats:
this are Pim and Pom.
Pim is grey with some stripes
and he's a little bit dumb.
Pom is wise and pompous
and extremely black.
Pom walks like a gentleman,
Pim runs all the time.

I'm going to use Pim for training some construction, like the Top Cat exersize. I think Pim is easier than Top Cat, so drawig Pim is a nice start for me (Top Cat was to hard for me...).

I'm going to draw Pim as soon as i can!
